Ok im sry if this is the wrong section, but im wondering if it's for scripting, can you make the flag for ctf as a ball or no

you'll have to make a model of the ball and name it exactly the same as the flag model(s). Place it in the right folder inside a .iwd file and the game will use the balls instead of the flag models.

ok well i made the ball but idk what to do now, i made it in 3ds max 9, what should i save it as, can someone help me, and do i have to change the name to like what the flag is called

CoD2 requires Maya 6.0 models, there is no export plugin for 3dsmax 9.

You should save and import it into the game EXACTLY the name as the flags, because you want the game to use the balls instead of the flags.

There is a tutorial on how to import models into the game in the CoD2 tutorial section.
